366 Days of Running COMPLETED.
It’s DONE!
366 days of running completed—a leap year sweep. I’m tired and freezing, so I’m keeping this short. Just going to post some pics.
Thank you to everyone who came out, a MASSIVE thanks to the runners who came with me (today was brutal and I'd have struggled way more with you). Thank you to every single person who’s chucked in a few quid. You’re all the real champions.
Choo. Freaking. Choo.
FINAL RUN TODAY!
We’ve made it—Day 366.
I’ve hit my 1000km goal. I’ve run every day for a year, and now it’s time for the final cherry on what has become a very big cake.
I invited you all to come down to GRO at 11 a.m. to see me off on my final run (and then see me finish around 11:35ish). But, as with all great things in Scotland, the weather has decided not to play ball.
Unfortunately, there’s a storm warning. Even more unfortunately, I’m still doing it. For everyone who said they’d come to say “hi,” please don’t feel any pressure to come out in storm conditions.
Obviously, I’d still love to see you all, but I wanted to share this update to let you know there’s absolutely no stress if you can’t make it.
Thank you AGAIN to everyone who’s donated. Hitting the £1500 mark is insane, and with the cash donations I still need to pay in, there’s even more to add.
Jenny and Rob, if you’re reading this—I want my big cheque!!!
See you soon, folks.

DAY 366 RUN UPDATE!
THE FINAL DAY DRAWS NEAR!
What an epic journey it’s been! Raising this much money has been incredible, and I can’t thank you all enough for helping me smash my £1000 goal.
Previously I mentioned organising an event for y'all to come and join me for the final day, and with Christmas looming and before I get lost in family events I thought I'd get this organised.
Grab your ticket here to let me know you’re coming - or just show up! Either way, it’d mean the world to see you there.
Lastly, if you can, please share this page with anyone who might like to donate.
Let’s make the finale on December 31st one to remember!
Big love as always,
Gary
£1000 RAISED! - Bonus Challenge
Hey folks.
WE DID IT! £1000 has been raised for Megan's Space which will help with funding for young people at risk.
As promised, I'm going to run and aim for 1000km by the end of the year now as an extra challenge!
Further, although we've hit the £1000 target, I'm still looking to raise as much as possible. So keep sharing and liking posts, videos and stories whenever you see them.
Finally, I'll be setting up an event page soon, with details on the 31st of December run. I'd love it if anyone comes out to run/jog/walk or just chat to me on the final run of the year, but especially all of you because you've helped raise this money.
Thanks again everyone. You're all amazing.
Goal 2 done: £1000 next!
Thanks to everyone so far who's donated.
We're currently £350 away from the next target of £1000. As you can see I'm still on track, haven't missed a day and 1000km is still within reach.
To everyone that's donated I thank you, and ask for you to help me spread the page by sharing any posts you might see, or even the link itself to this page.
Thanks again folks.
First goal smashed!
Hey folks.
Thanks to everyone that donated. I hit my £100 goal almost instantly and I'm now looking to raise £500.
Big thanks to you all.
:)
Support Megan's Space: Running 366 Days for a Cause Close to My Heart
This year, I set myself the challenge of running a minimum of 2 kilometers every single day in 2024. That’s 366 consecutive days of running (yes, it’s a leap year!) to raise money for Megan’s Space, a cause that’s incredibly close to me and my family.
Megan’s Space was founded in memory of my sister Megan, who tragically took her own life. Losing her was devastating, but her legacy now lives on through this amazing charity, which provides crucial support for young people at risk of suicide. Every penny raised will go directly to saving lives, offering hope, and ensuring that no one has to face their struggles alone.
Today is November 22nd, which means I’ve already completed the majority of this challenge. You can have a look and see the work that's already put in here:
With only a few weeks left, I’m making a final push to raise as much as I can for this life-saving cause. Whether it’s £1, £10, or whatever you can spare, your donation will make a real difference.
To mark the end of this journey, I’ll be hosting an event on December 31st for my final run of the year. If you’ve donated, I’d love for you to join me—whether to run, walk, or just cheer me on! Details will follow soon, so keep an eye out.
Thank you for your support, encouragement, and generosity throughout this challenge. Together, we can make a real difference for those who need it most.
Donate today and help save lives.
