I am raising money for War Child to help ensure a safe future for children affected by conflict.
Israeli attacks have killed thousands of innocent children, with a million more forced from their homes and facing starvation. It's the deadliest crisis for children this century. Over 17,900 children have been killed and those who have managed to survive are severely traumatised. More than a million children are suffering from severe psychological distress, many unable to sleep or even speak. It's the worst mental health crisis for children that we have ever seen.
I'm going to be running the Run Barnes Green half marathon on 28th of September in support of War Child. And I'll do my best to do it under 2h.
A donation from you means War Child can build up their supply of food and basic items to keep families and children safe, clean and warm. It's a charity that focuses on protecting, educating, and advocating for the rights of children living in war zones, aiming to reach them as early as possible and support them long after the cameras leave. They provide a range of services including psychological support, education, and community support.
Anything you can contribute towards helping me achieve my target will be massively appreciated.
Thank you.
