BUSINESS LOSS DUE TO THE PANDEMIC

As you can imagine - with events and functions cancelled and pubs, bars and restaurants closed in line with government regulations regarding the coronavirus pandemic, we were unable to trade at our usual level during lockdown.  For over 14 months, income has been cut by 95%.  

As we come out of lockdown - we need to bounce back quickly or go down crying. We are determined to come back bigger and better with an additional range of products.  Will you support us to make this happen?

Jewel Isle Global Productions - Background

Jewel Isle was founded in 2005. It has had the typical ups and downs of business, and even had a hiatus at one point.

Number of Bottles sold between 2005 and 2019 – 200,000 bottles.

There is something about Rum Punch.  It effuses visions of sunshine and beaches and gives a warm glow inside.  Jewel Isle Rum punch has been going since 2005.

Anita - the founder,  is raising funds to create a new additional range of rum punch which is stronger than the current product lines; overhaul our labelling; and give the brand a boost ahead of the opening up of the country after this awful pandemic.

The current range of Rum punches are 7% proof.  Wholesalers have requested a stronger version of the rum punches which is 14% proof - which we can easily do. We are also aiming to reach every bar, pub, restaurant, off license and supermarket.

Order Jewel Isle Rum punch packages for your celebrations or just for a relaxing drink at home on your own.  We sell large 750ml bottles, or smaller 200ml bottles in packages of 6 or more. 

About the Founder

This is a call out to support Entrepreneur // CEO Jewel Isle Global Productions - Anita Williams in her endeavour to supply wholesalers and commercial interests and individuals with her unique brand of Rum Punch.

Anita had worked in the drinks industry with Coca-cola for many years.  She still maintains contact and gets mentoring and quality advice from them to this day.

Jewel Isle Rum Punch is a dream turned reality for Anita, founder of Jewel Isle Global Productions. She began to sense something life changing was coming her way.  In her own words she describes how “I could feel it, I could smell it, I could taste it, I knew a shift was coming but didn’t know in what shape or form or what it was about”

Anita started this business with a passion to spread the taste and love of Caribbean  rum. The original tropical flavour is from a recipe passed down from Anita's father. 

She says – “I want this drink to be the classy drink it ought to be. There is so more to the taste!!” And this is reflected in the vibrant exquisite labelling.

Anita Williams - has accreditations of Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Silver Award as British Female Innovator and Inventor for developing the new flavours of rum punch. 

Anita's drive is to earn enough through this business to assist in the following areas.

• To fund the creation of water wells in Africa. 
• To fund children's extra education in the Caribbean particularly for gifted children who are unable to attend school regularly because of social and  economical circumstances. 
• To employ local people in Tottenham, North London who are unemployed and almost without hope.

The Events Market

Any event which needs easy to serve drinks which will thrill attendees should consider ordering cases of Jewel Isle Rum Punch. This could include networking events, seminars, conferences as well as social events.

Anita has served MP's and guest in the House of Commons, and guests at the Mayor of London's event.  At the Levi Roots "Reggae Reggae Sauce" Launch, Jewel Isle Rum Punch was the talk of the town.

Jewel Isle provides an online alcohol shop with a fantastic range of rum punches at   excellent prices. As a drinks supplier to homes and independent UK bars, we know our drinks - by cutting out the middleman, we’re able to give you fantastic deals when buying rum punch online.

The Commercial Market

Jewel Isle Rum punch produces the quality classic rum punches in a convenient, easy to store, no waste and easy to serve solution. 

We are currently speaking with wholesalers and distributors to encourage them to take the drinks as part of their stock. One set of wholesalers wants our products at 14% proof.  They are currently 7%.

Our ambition is that every Bar, Hotel, Restaurant, Pub will stock Jewel Isle Rum Punch.  We also aim that every public event – we either provide a bar, or we provide stock for an existing bar.

INCENTIVES

Incentives are offered for those who donate to our cause.  We will welcome the named person as part of the Jewel Isle Family, and you will get 10% off any future orders direct from us – for life.

Incentive packages of rum punch can be ordered from £5 to £500. The rum punch bottles are 7% proof in various sizes. 

There is a non-alcoholic version sold in a 750mls bottle of Tropical Fruit Punch for those who do not drink, but who still wish to support us. The cost for this is £9 including packaging and posting.

WHY WE ARE FUNDRAISING?

• To Launch New Product Lines for Wholesalers who are requesting additional higher alcoholic strength products.
• To purchase Labelling Machine and Filler Machine to Semi-Automate the manufacturing process.
• To Relocate to Larger Premises.
• We want to start a strong Marketing Campaign to enable more sales - direct to consumer as well as to supply bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants. So far we have had organic growth, and have   bootstrapped the business all the way. 
• We would like to help unemployed people in the local area of Tottenham, North London. 
• We would like to be able to help other entrepreneurs get into drinks manufacturing.
• We would like to be able to help fund clean water wells in Africa. 
• We want to assist children with educational scholarships in the Caribbean.  There are some gifted children who are unable to fully take advantage of schooling as their family are poor and they are needed at home to help out. 
• We would like to be able to do more good works as our business grows. This business is not just about us.  It is about helping communities. 

Jewel Isle Global Productions Ltd has set up a community interest company called OCTAN Initiative Ltd. OCTAN means One Child Touching a Nation.  Through this channel we can do good.  Ten per cent of profits will go to OCTAN.
