We're still collecting donations
On the 20th March 2023 we'd raised £8,570 with 73 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We are aiming for promotion this season. Tier 4 league requires a pitch barrier around the 'Rec' & we are raising funds to 'hit our goal'!

Our Village Our Team
The wider community and businesses have been very supportive of Ruabon Rovers FC since our formation in 2020. Ruabon has a historic pedigree in Welsh Football & one of the main drivers in the creation of the team was to bring back a senior's men's football team after the absence of 20 years. the formation of the club has undoubtedly, brought the community together returning a sense of pride to our village.
The team play on the 'Rec' in the heart of the village and are supported by our pre and post match hospitality sponsors at the Cons Club Ruabon.
The club now has a very competitive team, of local players and fabulous community support at a facility that is in the core of the village. On completion of the project, with our team hopefully achieving promotion this season (22/23) we are aiming to bring Tier 4 football to Ruabon for season 23/24. The barrier, around the perimeter of the pitch, is part of the criteria for Tier 4, therefore its very simple, if we don't install a barrier we cant gain promotion which will dramatically affect our options for continued progress.
Ambition
It is the clubs intention, in time to expand our grassroots football offer to include children and girls football teams to play from the heart of the village. However, our short term aim is to improve the facilities on the 'Rec' for our senior team to further establish our progress and sustain grassroots football within our village.

Supporters
We are appealing to our AMAZING supporters, both new and old, to help us progress as we are looking to improve our facilities on the 'Rec' with a permanent pitch barrier around the perimeter of the pitch (320m in length). This barrier will be made from steel poles, with upright support and fixed to concrete footings in the ground.
The Aim
The cost of the project is in excess of £8500 and we are appealing to crowdfunder to help the club to raise these vital funds to enable us to progress.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. If you want to run your own fundraiser to support us, maybe a sponsored activity or similar, use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
Any monies raised will be directed to the perimeter barrier project to improve the facilities on the 'Rec' for the benefit of the whole community.
This improvement will support the full community by improving facilities within our Village enabling the club to progress.
As mentioned on the page when the voluntary committee are satisfied we are an effective , sustainable constitution we will look to expand and introduce junir grassroots football for girls and boys.
