Help Raise The Bar Build Manchester's Community Music Studio
For the past three years, Raise The Bar has been creating opportunities for Manchester's grassroots music community.
We've platformed hundreds of artists, paid emerging musicians, hosted monthly events, produced radio shows, delivered workshops and built a community where people can develop their creativity regardless of their background or financial circumstances.
Now we're ready for the next step.
We're raising £4,450 to create a dedicated community recording studio that will give artists access to professional equipment many simply couldn't afford themselves.
This won't just be a recording studio.
It will be a space where artists can write, rehearse, record music, learn production, receive mentoring and develop their craft alongside a supportive community that believes in their potential.
Every pound donated will go directly towards purchasing equipment that will serve Manchester's creative community for years to come.

Why this matters
Professional music equipment is expensive. For many talented young people and independent artists, the cost of accessing high-quality recording facilities or DJ equipment is one of the biggest barriers to progressing their careers.
The recording equipment will allow us to provide affordable and accessible studio sessions, artist development opportunities, production workshops and mentoring in a space designed to nurture creativity.
The Pioneer XDJ-RX3 isn't just for the studio. By investing in a professional all-in-one DJ system with a flight case, we'll also have the ability to take our equipment out into communities across Greater Manchester. Whether we're delivering workshops in community venues, supporting youth projects, hosting pop-up events, or running Raise The Bar showcases, we'll have a reliable, industry-standard setup that allows us to be mobile and bring opportunities directly to the people who need them.
Your support will help us to:
Provide affordable recording opportunities for emerging artists.
Deliver music production and recording workshops.
Support Raise The Bar Champions with professional development opportunities.
Run DJ workshops and skills sessions.
Take professional DJ equipment into community spaces and live events across Greater Manchester.
Create a long-term creative resource that will benefit hundreds of artists for years to come.
This isn't equipment for one artist.
It's an investment in Manchester's grassroots music community.
Every microphone, every recording session, every rehearsal and every event will help another artist take the next step in their journey.
If you've ever attended one of our events, listened to one of our radio shows, performed on one of our stages or simply believe in supporting grassroots creativity, we'd love for you to be part of this next chapter.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to creating a permanent home where Manchester's next generation of artists can learn, create and thrive.
Together, we can continue raising the bar for grassroots music in Manchester.
Thank you for believing in our artists.
