We are the local RSPCA animal shelter for Sussex East and Hastings, operating for over 20 years at Bluebell Ridge, caring for and rehoming abandoned cats as well as providing a dog welfare fund, plus neutering and chipping services to the local community. However we are facing a financial crisis and are in need of funds to keep operating.

0RSPCA Sussex East and Hastings Branch, also known as Bluebell Ridge, is one of many self-funding RSPCA Branches in the country. We are currently facing a financial crisis and are in need of funds to keep our centre open.
Covering a large area from Hastings to Camber and north to Hurst Green, we have operated for over 20 years helping hundreds of animals each year, whilst working with the RSPCA Inspectors to help their most vulnerable animals.
Our activities include:
- Rehabilitating and rehoming abused, abandoned and unwanted cats.
- Returning lost pets to their owners.
- Helping the local community with subsidised veterinary treatments.
- Microchipping and neutering local animals.
Each year we help over 700 animals with care, shelter, neutering and chipping programmes as well as rehoming them.
We are a self-funding RSPCA Branch which needs to raise over £200,000 each year to continue helping local animals in need, it is thanks to kind supporters like yourself that we are able to do this. All donations, large or small, help us to care for hundreds of abused, abandoned and unwanted animals each year.
After over 20 years in operation our animal shelter is in need of enhancement, repair and maintenance. Help us to raise £25,000 to not only conduct this vital work, but to also to support the important work of the RSPCA animal shelter in your local community.
