On the 26th April 2013 our world fell apart.
Andrew, Drew, our son died by suicide.
The pain we experienced is unimaginable and to this day we are continuing to find a way to heal the wound!
For the past 10 years we have been on a quest to stop this from happening and to prevent 1 family fro experiencing the pain that we still feel.
Introducing WCAB, a Teddy Bear, who is named in honour of Drew.
Wing Commander Andrew Bland.
Our AB has, in the past 10 years been flying, climbing, walking and now rowing, all over the world.
Our aim, to create a charity like no other, to help children and young adults to deal with their mental health.
Their fears.
Their worries.
Their troubles.
A simple message.
Talk
Talk
Talk.
We are there now, Bear Force, a registered charity to create 'Safe Spaces' where we can talk, you can talk, your children can talk.
Through an updated version of the book written all about AB and his adventures, children and young adults now have interaction.
This little book is a fantastic tool for parents and professionals to open conversations with children that might otherwise feel too difficult. Encouraging talking about feelings as part of everyday life is a great way to support positive mental health.
