Aim: Our aim is to not only create a warm space but to connect people to nature. We are bringing the outdoors in with this unique warm space.
We are Roots to Branches Forest school. We usually work outdoors but now we are bringing the outdoors, indoors with our new warm space.
Our warm space will be for members of the local community to access warmth, have a brew and have the opportunity to play a game or take part in an activity (all with a nature based theme)
We will also have a baby and toddler nature based sensory area.
This will benefit members of the local community. It will benefit mums, dads, children, babies, grandparents and all other adults.
There is no other warm space in the area and since Covid there are fewer toddler groups and places where people can meet and connect.
We usually work in remote woodlands and meadows so we are bringing forest school into the community, to give everyone the chance to explore what we have to offer.
We want this warm place to continue to be a well-being space where people can come along and meet others in the community. It's a space for all and we hope to continue to be able to offer this as well as incorporating our love of nature and allow people to see and feel the benefits of nature connection.
Money raised will go towards the hire of the hall, the resources used in sessions and being able to offer the space to people at no charge.
