The Roots of Hope Story
At Medic Malawi, we’ve been supporting vulnerable children in Malawi for over 20 years. Our team works alongside local partners, like the Medicom Foundation, to provide lasting solutions for families in need. Roots of Hope is the next step in our journey, designed to help children who were once in orphanage care and have now been reintegrated into their family homes. Our vision is to create a future where these children and their families thrive, with access to education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods.
The money we raise will directly fund the Roots of Hope program, helping us address critical needs such as:
Education Support: Ensuring children stay in school and succeed academically.
Health and Wellbeing: Providing access to essential healthcare services.
Community Resilience: Supporting long-term, sustainable development projects to strengthen families and communities.
Every donation brings us closer to our goal of raising £39,165, allowing us to continue this life-changing work in 2025 and beyond. By investing in these children, we are building stronger communities and brighter futures in Malawi.
