Securing a new high street shop to support 30+ local artists and fund affordable creative opportunities for the wider Romney Marsh community
Late last year, local artists teamed up with the Romney Marsh Community Hub to open Made on the Marsh. Thanks to amazing community support, we quickly grew to over 1,100 Facebook followers! Every sale helped pay for the shop, with artists donating a 15% commission back to the Hub.
Sadly, The Hub's lease ends on 24th October 2026. We are devastated to lose our home, and we know our community will miss it too. But we are not giving up!
Introducing Our New Vision
We have officially set up a Not-for-Profit Community Interest Company (CIC). Our goal is to secure our own permanent, independent space on the high street, but the CIC will be so much more than just a gallery shop.
We will be run 100% by volunteers. No one gets paid. Instead, every single penny of profit we make will go right back into the community.

We Need Your Help
We cannot do this without you. We have done the maths, and we need just under £12,000 to secure a new building and get the doors open.
It will start simple, but with your help and support, it will grow into a bright, modern, and welcoming space for locals and visitors alike and provide a firm base for the wider work of the CIC.
Please donate today and help us keep creativity alive on our high street and beyond!
