We need to replace our tired and worn out group transport.
Legio Secunda Augusta is a 1st Century Roman Living History Society.
We were formed over 20 years ago and have since been providing Roman military and Civil living history demonstrations throughout the UK and undertake school visits.
Our display includes prefabricated buildings to give the full feeling of stepping back in history. We rely on our group owned van and 7.5 tonne lorry to move our equipment to venues. Sadly, both of these vehicles have seen better days and with growing maintenance costs it is very unlikely they will last another year.
We would like to secure crowdfunding of £3000 to enable us to purchase a replacement second hand van at this time. The group offers a quality display that is entertaining, informative and educational.
