To develop our existing facilities so that we can become self sufficient and improve the playing facilities for all members at the club.
Nawton Grange Cricket Club, is a community-oriented cricket club, offering inclusive cricket and social opportunities for all ages and skill levels. From our young All-Star & Dynamos from 4 - 11 years old to competitive play across North Yorkshire and Ryedale for our men & women, we aim to foster participation in cricket, guided by a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. We also host regular representative matches form district through to county teams.

After successfully launching our girls team in 2025, with weekly fixtures now in 2026 we are in a positon of needing better grounds equipment for our ground to be able to cope with the dads of extra games in juniors, seniors and girls and women's team. Our ground usage on increasing in demand year on year and we need to develop the options for match play and practice. We feel that a new Hybrid match pitch will allow extra fixtures and a new roller is needed to maintain our current match and practice facilities.

We plan to install a match ready hybrid surface to allow more usage of the ground, saving time and reducing the impact on the current pitches. Alongside this, the roller will allow excellent facilities To be maintained to promote a great playing surface
How it will be used and by who?
The Hybrid wicket will be used throughout the season by all our senior and junior members. Matches and training sessions take place at the club's main ground, almost every day of the week throughout the summer (weather permitting). The Hybrid pitch will play a key part in reducing the wear and tear on the grass pitches throughout the season. A new roller is necessary as our existing one is no longer in a working order.
WIt’s us now having more junior boys teams, more adult teams than last year and with now being open to a women and girls section allowing female participation to match that of male participation welcoming women and girls into the club to have an equal opportunity for participation and practice. We are bringing people in teh community together.
The club is diverse, inclusive and community orientated – and our dedicated team of volunteers and members always go the extra mile.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
