0Why Painswick Rococo Garden needs your support...
Painswick Rococo Garden dates from the 1740s and is the country's sole surviving complete rococo garden. Open to the public since 1988; the Garden was eventually gifted to a charitable trust in 2012 for its legacy to continue in perpetuity.
The Trust exists to restore the Garden as fully as possible to its 1748 layout, to allow as many people to see it as possible, to explain its importance and to tell its story.
With your help we can continue our vital work to restore and safeguard this unique and historical place for the benefit of the public.
Your donation will enable us to:
- Preserve the heritage of the Garden for future generations
- Protect our natural habitats, wildlife and plants, and
- Provide a place for visitors and volunteers to escape, explore and connect with nature.
Whether you’re a member, or whether you just visit us from time to time to complete a family trail, see an open-air theatre performance or browse our art and sculpture exhibitions, you can help us make sure that Painswick Rococo Garden is here for many more generations to come.
Thank you for your support.
