Flamingo Chicks Overview
Flamingo Chicks is a multi-award-winning charity founded in 2012 that breaks down barriers to inclusion through dance. They provide opportunities for all children, including disabled children and those with illnesses such as cancer, to enjoy dance and movement alongside friends. They also offer a support network for parents and carers, intergenerational volunteering, global outreach, and advocacy.
Mission
Flamingo Chicks aims to create a world where every disabled child enjoys their right to access services and opportunities to realize their full potential. They champion inclusive opportunities and disabled children's rights to participate in dance alongside their peers, showcasing what disabled children can do and the value of disabled and non-disabled children working together. They keep the voices of disabled children at the heart of their work.
