For 100 years Rochdale Rugby Club has:

• Encouraged kids of all shapes and sizes to get well exercised
• Provided a great social gathering point for families from all over the area
• Implanted the rugby core values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship into generations of local families

WHAT ARE WE TRYING TO DO

• Recover - We hope that this campaign will reach to our community and further afield to help and support us recover from financial and loss of COVID-19
• Rebuild - As a club but also a community, offer everyone the opportunity through our facilities and offer to live and physically active healthy lifestyle. 
• Recruit - New users, players and people through this fantastic campaign 
• Refresh - A community culture within and outside of the club for all to be a part of and enjoy, from having a sociable drink or attending an event, to representing the First XV on a Saturday.

An amateur community club for everyone from 6 to 106, men and women, we try and provide a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for every member and guest.

But we need your help!  Our great facilities and grounds cost an awful lot to maintain and run.  Most of our income is derived from using the club as a hospitality venue. Half the price of every drink sold at the bar goes back into running the club and improving it. 

HOW YOUR MONEY WILL BE SPENT

With Covid, our reserve funds have been heavily depleted and we need to ensure the club is around to provides the great services to the community it has managed since 1921.  These funds will provide:

• The upkeep of the house and grounds to ensure that the club is kept to the highest of standards 
• Drainage and flooding across all of the grounds and the clubhouse
• Ideally additional works the floodlights to enable us to play more night time rugby when the season starts
• Any safety work that needs to be completed around the clubhouse to make sure it meets the relevant standards 
• Replacement of any machinery or equipment that is regarded as "end of life" and not fit for purpose 
• Further improvements to our changing facilities to accommodate the increase in rugby players 
• Investment in much-needed new equipment to help our ever-expanding junior rugby section
