Aim

Please help fundraise for our gym to maintain the standard and safety of our equipment and building for our community to continue to enjoy

Who are Robin Hood Gymnastics Club

RHGC is a none profit sports club full of a dedicated team of coaches, staff and volunteers. Our gym is a propose built facility located in Nottingham.

Our aim at RHGC is creating an unforgettable experience for everyone who comes in to the sport through our doors. We want everyone to enjoy the thrill and awe that gymnastics delivers while making treasured memories with team mates, coaches and building a lifelong passion for sport.

As well as teaching gymnastics our aim is to nurture and inspire everyone who walks through our doors putting passion and excellence together. We want to increase the number of people involved in gymnastics within our community and keeping them involved in sport in to adult hood.

What do RHGC offer? 

We offer a wide range of different classes discovering and nurturing talent and full potential in all areas of the sport.

These classes involve babies to adults, women’s artistic, recreational, boys squad, gymnastics for all squad,  home education classes, preschool and hopefully much more to come.

As well as providing gymnastics to as many people as we can we also offer the kick start scheme offering employment to 16-24 year olds in a vision to long term employment or even a long term career at RHGC.

We provide a young leaders programme, our aim is to keep our gymnasts and the young people within our community within a sport for as long as we can. Our vision is to help them gain a qualification within the sport to help their long term career no matter what that may be.

We also invite our local schools to experience and explore our gym in a structure gymnastics class, teaching them the fundamental skills of gymnastics on all our equipment.

Our gym is also hired out by our local community whether that is cheer leading, parties, yoga and many different events.

The impact

Since opening in 2015 we have helped lots of people with their coach education to further on their career within the sport.
 Many coaches and staff have completed lots of qualifications through RHGC from coaching, welfare, fire safety, child protection, food hygiene, fire safety, mental health awareness and more much.

We are delighted to provide a safe place for all our teenagers and young adults to come and train or further on their career within the sport.

We give gymnasts and coaches the chance to train and compete in different countries providing them with the experience of different cultures.

Our older gymnasts that have now retired have gone on to coaching or sport degrees which they have come back to us and done work experience.

How can you help?

We are trying to raise £10,000 to help maintain and improve our facility so we can continue providing programmes for young people and coaches, keep our equipment serviced and safe and to be able to keep providing gymnastics for all levels.

Since COVID hit lots of businesses struggled us being one of them having to close for nearly a year, this year we are struggling to maintain the quality of equipment that we would like to offer our community.

Any money raised will allow us to purchase some new pieces of equipment which now show ware and tear or that has broken completely. At this moment we do not have the funds to replace or mend any of these pieces of equipment which is affecting some of our classes and gymnasts.
