Aim
Run from Gamesley to MetLife Stadium – 3,400 miles for our community. To raise funds for refurbishment of the outdoor sports facilities
The Challenge
From 1st February, a team of runners will take on an ambitious community challenge:
to collectively run 3,400 miles — the equivalent distance from Gamesley, England to MetLife Stadium, New Jersey, USA, the venue of the World Cup Final.
Miles will be run anywhere, anytime, with progress tracked and shared along the way.
The challenge will culminate in a 24-hour continuous run around Gamesley as the grand finale.
Why We’re Doing This
We are raising money for the much-needed replacement outdoor sports facilities at Gamesley Community Centre.
These facilities are used by:
- Children and young people
- Local sports teams
- Community groups
- Families and residents of all ages
Unfortunately, the current outdoor facilities are no longer fit for purpose. With your support, we can help provide safe, modern, and accessible sports spaces that will benefit Gamesley for years to come.
