We're still collecting donations
On the 19th June 2020 we'd raised £6,030 with 14 supporters in 34 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We are aiming to create cash flow for our business, due to the virus, and offer a discount on future booked holidays to our properties

On the 19th June 2020 we'd raised £6,030 with 14 supporters in 34 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We would like to continue to re-invest in our properties to make the holiday experience even better. Any extra money will be used on the properties maintenance, new additions and ideas to enhance the future stays.
“Were asking you to help to keep your favourite holiday destination in business! After successfully trading for 20 years, Covid 19 poses a serious risk to our holiday lettings business (we have been heavily let down by the Government and fallen through the net, and received no business grants and no income support at all even with many many years of successful trading accounts to prove it). We have a limited time to access a partial match crowdfunding grant and need to get to £4000 for this to happen, and we’re asking YOU, one of our most loyal clients, to either:
1- Book NOW and pay fully upfront for your next visit to River Cottage and the Boathouse. We will waive all booking fees (5-10% various web sites) and offer you a reduction of 15% on your holiday with us. So some huge savings on your next holiday! (Example: up to £662 saving on main season booking). HOW? To take up this offer please contact us for a price, and then if happy please donate the equivalent amount.
2- Second option....Rewards offer:
If you can’t commit to a date and full payment for your booking upfront, we’d ask instead if you could send us a deposit donation of £250, £500, or £1000 now, which we will then deduct from your next stay with us, anytime before the end of next year. Your donations will also be ‘rewarded’ with a extra cash voucher towards your next holiday booking. HOW? -Please click on the reward amount and donate accordingly.
Your generosity and commitment to River Cottage and the Boathouse will mean that we’ll still be here when you want to come and stay with us in the idyllic Isle of Wight, and it will allow us to continually maintain and improve the properties for your future stays.
