Aim
Rising Music Festival creates real performance opportunities for young artists. We’re crowdfunding £10k to make it sustainable.
What Happened When We Took the Risk.......
Rising Music Festival began as a bold idea — to give young and emerging artists a real festival experience, not a token slot or practice-room performance.
In collaboration with The Phoenix Arts Centre, and we took a chance — and it worked.
Over 60 acts performed across the festival offering such a wide variety of genre and experience. For many, it was their first ever festival. For some, their first time performing live at all.
The atmosphere was electric and the impact was immediate.

🚛 Why We’re Fundraising
To keep Rising Music Festival going — and to do it properly — we need to build a sustainable model.
The biggest cost, and the thing that makes Rising possible, is the truck stage.
It provides young artists with:
A professional platform
Proper sound and staging
A genuine festival experience
Without it, Rising simply can’t exist in the way it needs to.

💷 Where the £10,000 Goes
We’re crowdfunding £10,000 to cover two essential areas:
🎪 £5,000 — Truck Stage
This secures the professional stage that transforms Rising from a local event into a real festival experience.
👥 £5,000 — Delivery & Support
This helps cover:
Festival planning and coordination
Social media and communications
Artist liaison, safeguarding and admin
Up to now, much of this work has been unpaid or delivered in good faith. For Rising to continue, it needs to be fair and sustainable.
