To promote community and youth leadership through the development of an eco-space.
BANG Edutainment is proud to stand for young people and local communities.
As a youth-led and community-focused organisation, BANG is currently establishing its new project Rise Up Stonebridge. This project aims to develop an eco-space where young people and residents participate in the growing of plants that will promote youth power, community leadership, community cohesion, applied learning and active responsibility in the preservation and sustainability of Stonebridge.
Rise Up Stonebridge has been created to address an environmental waste issue that exists outside Leopald Primary School, a local school in Stonebridge, where a patch of land that should be clean, green, and open for the young people to explore, is dirty, unhygienic, and littered with waste – most of which are non-biodegradable and drug/substance-related.
Parents and pupils of Leopald Primary School are confronted with the decimation of the environment right outside the school – destroyed by the dumping of all types of rubbish and anti-social behaviour.
BANG wants to revitalise the local area surrounding the school and make it a designated green space where it is prohibited to dump waste and litter. The area will be an education zone for the young people of Leopald Primary School and nearby schools - giving them the opportunity to learn about plants, nature, agriculture and sustainable living.
With your donation, we will be able to:
If you believe in the sustainability of local areas, donate and make a difference today!
