Year One: Create exceptional beers and create a brand, perfect my craft Year Two/Three: Open a micropub/brewery and serve a solid core range

My journey into brewing started with a single beer — Northern Monk’s Faith pale ale. Until then, I never believed beer could taste like that. It changed everything.

What began as curiosity quickly became an obsession. I immersed myself in brewing — reading, researching, and constantly refining my process. Batch after batch, I pushed to improve, eventually creating beers I genuinely preferred over what I could find in pubs. Sharing those beers with friends, family, and colleagues confirmed it wasn’t just me — this was something worth pursuing.

That realisation led me to change careers. I moved into commercial brewing, working across multiple breweries, learning the trade properly, and sharpening my skills. Over time, I gained the experience and confidence to take things further — culminating in selling my first cask to a pub.

That moment made it clear: this isn’t just a passion. It’s what I want to do for the rest of my life. Now, I’m ready to take the next step.

The funds raised will go directly toward scaling up production — investing in the equipment needed to brew larger, more consistent batches from home, and securing the necessary licences to operate legally and professionally.

This is about more than just increasing volume. It’s about establishing a foothold in the market — getting my beer into more hands, more venues, and building a reputation for quality and consistency.

The long-term goal is to grow a loyal community of enthusiastic beer drinkers who believe in what I’m creating. With that support, I aim to take the next major step: securing a permanent space, opening a taproom, creating jobs, and dedicating myself full-time to brewing exceptional beer.
