Rhiannon’s recovery!

We aim to raise as much money as we can to support Rhiannon with her cancer treatment. £7,500 is our starter.. £15,000+ is the dream!!
In November 2016, Rhiannon was suddenly and unexpectedly diagnosed with Nodular Sclerosis Lymphoma. Being 21 years old at this time, as you can obviously imagine this was the worst possible news for her to hear. At this stage in her life, Rhiannon should be out with her friends and family, socialising, exploring different parts of the world... But this was the start of a very long road of recovery. After researching endlessly, Rhiannon had explored all types of treatment that was firstly recommended to her but also natural alternative treatments that had the most amazing remission stories. The route of Chemotherapy brought so much worry to Rhiannon as this would possibly be effecting her fertility, destroying her already weak immune system and many other long term damaging effects to her body. Rhiannon decided to try the alternative methods. Just 12 weeks into her adapting her whole lifestyle, diet and routine, the tumour had shrunk by 3%! This was amazing news and filled everybody with such hope.
Skip forward to 12th July 2018, I received the news that Rhiannon was pregnant! This incredible news warmed the hearts of everybody close to her and her little boy, Tishé, was born happy and healthy on the 21st February 2019, this may NOT have been the case if she had chosen the route of chemotherapy.
With the physical demand of a baby, the upkeep of this already difficult lifestyle change was beginning to take its toll and was becoming harder and harder to maintain.
Unfortunately, in the month of April 2020 after discovering a lump in her neck area, Rhiannon had another biopsy learning that her Cancer has spread.
Rhiannon has had nothing but a positive outlook on her situation and continues to carry on her day to day life raising her beautiful little boy, but it’s time to get back to fighting this illness in the best way she knows how.
So, myself, Rhiannon’s closest friends and family have decided to raise money in order to send Rhiannon to a Natural Integrative Treatment Cancer Clinic in Spain. In line with the treatment that WORKED at the start of her diagnosis, this retreat will focus on Rhiannon getting everything that she needs to get the best fighting chance that she rightly deserves. We each plan to complete different physical activities that will push us to the max to give ourselves a little bit of an insight into how Rhiannon feels on a daily basis.
Due to this current pandemic of Covid-19, we understand completing these tasks is going to be extremely difficult whilst following governmental advice and guidelines. But we need to get this ball rolling as time is of the essence.
Collectively, our aim is to reach the equivalent of £500 per person closest to Rhiannon. This will raise half of the money needed to attend the clinic on a three week plan.
Every little helps and will go such a long way!
