We are prioritising vulnerable communities to provide them opportunities to connect ...
A community-led initiative to improve environmental access, food security and digital inclusion
At RJ4All, we work closely with our community to shape our Green Vision. Our focus encompasses the creation of well-rounded, sustainable communities that are underpinned by social cohesion, food security, and digital inclusivity.
This initiative serves as a direct response to the escalating cost-of-living crisis. The residents living around our Community Centre are sharing their stories of struggle – of juggling basics like food, health, warmth, and accessing to digital information platforms. But together, we can rewrite this narrative.
Now let’s take a 2-minute tour into our Green journey!
A cohesive society is a GREEN society
With initiatives grounded in restorative justice values—such as power-sharing, equality, dignity, and inclusion—we offer a myriad of free, engaging activities at our Rotherhithe Community Centre to to nourish the spirit, mind, and relationships of our local inhabitants.
GREEN means nobody goes hungry
Last year alone, our Food Bank and Community Fridges have served over 1,500 people in Southwark area with fresh, high-quality food, underlining our commitment to assuring food security in our neighbourhoods. Through food banks, we are strengthening the sense of compassion and hope. 1 in 4 Southwark residents currently experience low food security due to financial constraints (Southwark Council, 2023). It is time to act!
GREEN means environmental-friendly community
We encourage the local community and young people to take every small and doable initiative to make our community centre and local area greener.
