The problem

I'm Robert Eley, a South Wales property developer. I've bought, refurbished, sold and let property, and converted a creche into a 5-bed HMO in 10 weeks. Every time, the same thing slowed me down: waiting days for a builder's price, or guessing. So I built RFPG.

What RFPG does

1. Walk round the property with the free RFPG app. It works on any phone, and for the most accurate scan use an iPhone 12 Pro or later Pro model (they have a LiDAR sensor). Scanning happens only in the app.

2. RFPG builds an itemised refurbishment estimate from sourced cost lines, a value estimate and the investment maths.

3. You get a shareable PDF deal pack, ready to send to an investor, a broker or a lender.

Every report has over 40 data points, drawing on a wide range of data: itemised refurb costs, value estimates and sold-price comparables from HM Land Registry (England and Wales only), the deal maths and your max offer, area average rent and gross yield from ONS, planning and flood checks, energy and safety items, and local crime, house-price and earnings data.

The full report is free to view on screen. You only pay if you want the PDF: £29 for one, or £99 for five. If you use RFPG regularly there are monthly and yearly plans. RFPG gives estimates, not a survey or a RICS valuation, and says so on every report.

Where we are today

• The web app is live and taking payments.
• The Android app is live on Google Play.
• The iPhone app is free in beta on Apple TestFlight and has been submitted to Apple for App Store review. There is no App Store listing yet.
• We are a small team. A phone app can still have rough edges, and estimates depend on the quality of the cost data.

The founding-member offer

Become a founding member and lock in 50% off your first year of a yearly plan, with a founding badge to match. The offer is live now and ends on 30 November 2026 at 23:59. There is no cap on places.

• Bronze founder: Starter, £245 for the first year (normal price £490). 3 reports a month.
• Silver founder: Pro, £495 for the first year (normal price £990). 10 reports a month.

After the first year, every founding plan renews at 20% off the normal price for life, while your plan stays active: Bronze £392 a year instead of £490, Silver £792 instead of £990, Gold £1,992 instead of £2,490. You can cancel any time.

Trades are included. Founding Trades plans are yearly: Starter £195 (normally £390), Standard £245 (normally £490) and Pro £395 (normally £790) for the first year, renewing at £312, £392 and £632 a year (20% off for life while your plan stays active). They include 8, 12 and 25 priced jobs a month.

The badge and perks are yours for good, but a founding plan is not a free account.

What your money does

Our target is £25,000, on Keep What You Raise. Your pledge pays for the iPhone app and in-app plans to be finished and launched properly, covers the cost of running the reports you use (AI and cloud), and puts the first real marketing behind RFPG, reaching property developers, sourcers, brokers and trades. Regular monthly donations are welcome too, and go towards ongoing marketing and development costs.

The long-term plan

Our next goal is to set up a charity to help tackle homelessness, funded from a share of RFPG's profits.
