The Packhorse is a community members club which is also open to the general public 7 days a week. Warm welcomes and great company to all!

Who are we?

We at the Packhorse are open to the community with benefits if you become a member.

The beating heart of the community in the Bollinbrook estate has been home to most of the towns happiest memories and also a comforting place to reflect on lost loved ones.

We provide top quality services for wedding, christenings, birthdays, wakes, pub games, bowling and many more....

We are not just you average members club, we are a venue where you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door to the second you leave, leaving lasting happy memories for all who grace our doorstep.

Why are we crowdfunding?

Over the years, The Packs grounds and have become a little tired, and with us being a club who is fully self sustained, things have been over looked and put to one side to make sure other projects are fulfilled.

The main things that need a lot of attention is the exterior of the building. The grounds are looking very dated and need bringing into the 21st century. This includes the exterior brickwork of the building being repainted, an overhaul of the beer garden, car park revamp, seating around the bowling green and work commencing on the new children's play area.

Things also on the inside of the club is the refurbishment of the club toilets, Bar area and conservatory.

How we’ll spend the money raised

All money raised will be put into the refurbishment project listed above. Complete transparency will be provided on newsletters, social media, website and posters in the club.

The more prioritised projects would be completed first.

Community impact

This project will have lasting impact on everyone visiting the club, understanding that we are determined to provide the best quality of service and experience to whoever visits.

Doing this will secure the clubs future and provide more for our incredible community.

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
