Aim
To raise funds to replace and upgrade the audio/visual system in our Church
The congregation of the Allan Church in Bannockburn, Stirling, Scotland is raising funds to replace and upgrade the audio - visual system in the Church.
The current system is over 20 years old and has served us well but is now showing its age in several ways (radio mics unreliable, one failed projector) and is generally out of date with modern systems functionality.
Our late Minister, Rev Jim Landels was very enthusiastic about bringing technology into the Church and was the driving force behind the installation of the current system and the new installation will be in his memory. His faithful ministry, pastoral care and quiet dedication touched many lives, both within the congregation and across the wider community, and it is our hope that this project will be a fitting and lasting tribute to his service.
To support the fund-raising effort a number of dedicated events will also be taking place throughout the year and we would be grateful for any support you feel able to give.
We hope, God willing, to hold a Thanksgiving Service in early October, when all will be warmly welcomed to give thanks for Jim’s life and ministry, and to dedicate these new facilities to his memory.
