If you have arrived here, there is a good chance you have been following our journey for a while. We are B and Miles of Bohobo Aromatherapies. We make natural handmade aromatherapy-based products. We also weave poetry into the everyday with holistic ritual, Ayurveda, astrology and seasonal living. We live and work in Frome, Somerset with our glorious daughters and over the last seven years we have built a community through connecting our simple days and sensory explorations with yours.
ENDINGS AND BEGINNINGS
The last few years have brought a shift, a hum, where experiences though unique, are also joined. We have been challenged, you have followed us as we fought on, rising, bringing joy and comfort, even in darker moments. Now, after a 53% increase in our rent, we are losing our home. This root shaking brings with it an immense need to reclaim ourselves from within our lives and clarify the vision of how we wish to go on. As painful as it is, this means leaving Frome.
Miles and I met in Paris. We started the Bohobo Aromatherapies adventure after our eldest daughter was born. We had sold Christmas cakes to get enough money to buy our first supplies and then we began. We’ve never really had a plan other than the magic inside our amber bottles hold the possibility to carry our love and good wishes to those in contact with them. The love we receive for Bohobo Aromatherapies, and how we share our life with you has bloomed.
RECLAIMING AND REVISIONING
Our dream was painted long ago. Pencil outlined, broad strokes, and then colour. To run retreats where we could connect and catalyse effective change through holistic wellbeing in such a way that the participants felt so nourished and regained their creative seeds aligned and on returning home this fed-change rippled out to those around them. We found the place where we can do it, and it was not where we had thought it would have been. Normandy offers us the space, peace, and light to realise this dream. We have investigated the logistics, the ease for people to join us, the ability to keep base in Frome to continue with our monthly holistic subscription box, markets on first weekends, Christmas markets and wholesale.
In reality we imagine many of you will feel this a natural progression and saw it coming before we did. You have always been there, experiencing, exploring, becoming with us.
INVEST IN US
We're crowdfunding for the initial set up costs of the venture. The parts that need to be planned. To create a structure large enough to give the dream a base to dance. Brexit means that in the set-up there will be visas, insurance, deposits, and the first couple of months’ financials to give us the space to iron out any creases and the ability restart with filled cups.
Any additional funding will be reinvested into the business in the form holistic therapists joining us on retreats, training so we can offer new therapies with ancient roots and opening up online workshops as well as our in-person events.
We have leaned into the edges of this expansion, worrying, and feeling deeply. Neither of us want the Bohobo Aromatherapies book to end, but we can’t to continue struggling to keep up and putting on a brave face. It's time for us to choose our own adventure, rewrite our story, and leap. Will you leap with us?

How reflection, and connection with the seasons helps us to balance the elements within ourselves. £550 RETREAT TO RENEW BASE special access to our foundation level four-day holistic wellbeing retreat in Normandy. Our retreats will be an exploration to return. £850 RETREAT TO RENEW FULL special access to our four-day holistic wellbeing retreat including all therapies. We are nourished and regained through aromatherapy, meditation, rituals, ayurvedic practice, and connection to the seasons within and around us. The golden ticket will include personal astrology reading, tarot, spinal energetics, and lymphatic massage (maximum 8 people per retreat). Retreats begin spring 2024.
