Raise awareness of AHC, share Rupert’s story further and show how far we’ll go to fight for his future—one £1 donation at a time.
I’m walking to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital via Tesco Broughton because that is where Rupert’s story first became known to so many people.
When Rupert became critically unwell at Tesco Broughton, the emergency response was huge. He was then flown by air ambulance to Alder Hey in just 6 minutes.
That day, people across the community saw what Rupert was facing. His story began to spread, people started asking who he was, and Rupert’s Rainbow began to reach further.
On 19th September, I’ll retrace that journey in a very different way.
His flight took 6 minutes.
My walk will take around 16 hours.
I’ll walk from our home, through Tesco Broughton, and all the way to Alder Hey — around 38 miles, alone.
I’m hoping that, just like that day, this journey will make people stop, ask questions and share Rupert’s story again.
Because awareness matters. Every share helps more people understand AHC, and every new person we reach could help us get one step closer to a better future for Rupert.
38 miles. 16 hours. One reason — Rupert. 🌈💜
Please donate £1, share the page, and help Rupert’s story travel further than I ever could on foot.
