Aim
The feedback from the inaugural Retford Book Festival 2025 was so positive that we’re excited to announce the second Retford Book Festival!
The Retford Book Festival 2026 will run from 6–14 June 2026, and this year we're going even bigger - with an additional date added and an expanded programme organised due to demand.
This year we are excited to welcome some huge national names, including Alistair Campbell and Mark Steel, alongside an exciting mix of writers, thinkers, and performers with more still to be announced.
Running a festival at this scale requires funding - for marketing, festival programmes, venue hire, authors, schools events, keeping ticket prices affordable and much more! By backing this crowdfunder, you’re not just donating to a week of cultural events in Retford; you’re helping to make sure this festival can keep growing year on year.
