Resurfacing of outdoor sports court

Aim

Outdoor sports courts in desperate need of resurfacing to enable local junior clubs and the community to benefit from the facilities

Who are we?

We are a new Junior Netball club based in Newent, Gloucestershire run by volunteers. We provide the opportunity for local children ages 8 to 16 to play the sport and get active.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We are run by volunteers and do our best to keep fees low for players to help in the cost of living crisis and to encourage players from all backgrounds, however, this leaves very little left over after match fees and court costs are paid.  Our club is rapidly expanding and we have limited facilities in the area to meet the demand.  We would like to be able to  provide the best opportunities for our players and the local community and to be able to take on more children.

How we’ll spend the money raised

There are currently 3 outdoor courts where we train, however, they are in poor condition and we are not able to use them as a result. We would like to be able to have these resurfaced and line marked so that not only can they be used by our club, but it will benefit the rest of the community and the local secondary school.

If these courts are upgraded they will be available to use across the rest of the local community for various other activities.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
