Aim: Restore the Rainbow - Montpelier Rainbow Bridge
Hello friends, neighbours and businesses of Montpelier and St Andrews!
A group of local families who live in the area surrounding the Montpelier/ St Andrews Rainbow Bridge are looking to restore the bridge to its former glory. The bridge is historically famed for its cheerful rainbow design (very popular with the local children) and fantastic mural pieces by local artists. Sadly the friendly design has deteriorated over time and so we would like to give it fresh lick of paint! The community is gathering to make this happen and what is more, some of the incredible graffiti artists involved in the original design over a decade ago will be returning to bring their magic!
We have thirty households taking part and, weather being well, we plan to carry out the restoration on Sunday June 15th, 2025.
We are looking for your support in helping us raise money for the 28 different colours of paint, brushes, rollers and paint trays. All donations would be gratefully received.
