Aim: Your donation helps to restore nature from shore to summit, across Lochaber in the Scottish Highlands.
From the deepest sea lochs to the summit of Ben Nevis, Lochaber in the Scottish Highlands is a vast area of dramatic landscapes, dotted with close-knit rural communities and much loved by those who visit.
However, over centuries, its natural habitats have become degraded and fragmented, and its wildlife much reduced.
But we can turn this around, with your help.
Through the Loch Abar Mòr partnership, we are working hard to restore nature across Lochaber, helping local communities and wildlife to thrive together.
Launched last year, Loch Abar Mòr is a bold and ambitious nature restoration partnership, covering over 120,000 acres. Managed by SCOTLAND: The Big Picture, it brings together local communities and land managers to recover nature at scale.
Together, we’re reimagining a thriving, wild and resilient Lochaber.
With your help, the partnership will strengthen Lochaber’s ability to adapt to climate change by creating a thriving and resilient landscape, where wildlife and communities can flourish together.
This isn’t just about saving nature. It's about creating new opportunities, and reconnecting wildlife and people – for generations to come.
Your donation helps turn this vision into reality. Every pound brings us closer to a nature rich Lochaber.
Donate today and let’s bring nature back – together.
P.S. Donate and triple your impact – thanks to the Aviva Community Fund and British Airways Climate Fund matching your donation! For example, if you give £40, Aviva and British Airways give £40 too (up to a maximum of £250).*
