Restoring Madron FC - A Community Effort

Who are we?
Madron Football Club is a grassroots adult team based in Cornwall, run by local volunteers. We're rebuilding the club to bring people together through football, pride and community.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are raising funds to support the full revival and long term sustainability of Madron Football Club ahead of the 2025/26 season.
How we’ll spend the money raised
Your contributions will go towards essential start-up costs including training equipment, kits, pitch hire, referees fees, insurance and league registration. More importantly, this crowdfunder will help us build a solid financial foundation to ensure the club can operate sustainably for seasons to come supporting local players, providing opportunities for youth development, and restoring a valued part of village life. By reaching our target, we will be able to bring Madron Football Club back to life, not just as a football team but as a proud part of our local community.
Most importantly, it will support the development of a young and talented squad, with the majority of our players aged just 16-18. This gives them the opportunity to grow together and compete at senior level. We are creating a positive and structured environment where young adults can build confidence, discipline, and team spirit both on and off the pitch.

Community impact
The impact will go beyond football. Reviving the club will bring people together, boost local pride, and provide a much needed outlet for community engagement and wellbeing. It will reconnect generations through sport and create a shared sense of belonging that benefits the village and local area as a whole.
The project is about giving local youth a real opportunity, building something lasting, and putting Madron back on the football map. It matters to our players, supporters, and to everyone who calls this community home.
