Since the council declared our chimney stack, part of wheal trevaunance mine, to be a dangerous structure and therefore closed the footpath behind it, we've been working with specialist contractors and the council to ascertain a way forwards. There has been many delays but now we have contractors at the ready to start work very soon. The project involves a cherry picker and a specialist to repoint and make the chimney safe. This is coming at great expense to us and are hoping the amazing community of st Agnes can support us and get our footpath open again.
