RESTLESS: A Short Film By Dillon McNamara

Aim

Synopsis: A young man struggling with insomnia and overwork realises he needs to face himself and improve his life.

Hi! I'm Dillon, a writer-director studying Filmmaking at Manchester Metropolitan University. This summer, I aim to make my most ambitious film yet, Restless. It is a psychological drama that follows David, a young writer struggling with insomnia and restlessness, caused by his overwork and neglection of his physical and mental health. The film comments on the flaws in the pathways set up for artists in the modern day, and how we all need to take better care of our mental health, even when pursuing big dreams.

As this is my most ambitious and personal film yet, I'm going to need your help. To bring this vision to life, our team is looking for any funding you might be able to send our way. We'll need this to cover equipment costs, travel expenses, location fees, among much more.
