Aim
Getting Sael open at The Goodsyard in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham
My name's Jonny and I am overjoyed to announce we have a permanent home at The Goodsyard.
I've been running a successful series of pop ups in the Birmingham area over the past year and a bit, and I now have the opportunity to give this a home.
I'm bringing Asher on board, his wealth of knowledge of drinks, his amazing customer service and loveable cheekiness will only add to what we currently offer. To say I'm excited to work with him is an understatement. (look at his lovely face)
We want to keep with the ethos of Sael.
Sael is about welcoming you into our home for the night. You become part of our family and we want everyone to sit back, relax and let us look after you.
Sael at The Goodsyard will be an intimate 8 seater counter, with an ever changing tasting menu, dictated by the seasons and local suppliers.
Food and drinks will be made and served in front of you, whilst allowing you to talk to us and ask questions throughout the meal. We want it to feel welcoming, warm and relaxed.
As with our pop ups, everyone will dine at the same time, from a set tasting menu. Asher will be bringing the drinks to compliment the food, so you really will be in good hands.
The money raised from the Crowdfund will go towards kitting out the restaurant to the highest standard we possibly can. After a year of doing these pop ups, I know exactly how I want the restaurant to feel for you, the diner.
I want to thank my wonderful partner Hannah for her support and drive to push me. Without her, I'm sure I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am now.
