About ReStart Mobility CIC

At ReStart Mobility CIC, we believe that no one should lose their independence because they cannot afford the right mobility equipment.

Every year, thousands of wheelchairs, hospital beds, hoists and other medical aids are discarded across the UK while many disabled people in both the UK and Romania continue to live without the equipment they desperately need.

We are changing that.

We collect donated mobility equipment across the UK, professionally inspect and refurbish it, giving it a second life instead of allowing it to become waste.

Our mission has two goals:

• Provide affordable refurbished mobility equipment to disabled people across the UK who cannot afford expensive new equipment.

• Use the income generated to donate mobility equipment free of charge to vulnerable people in Romania who have no other support.

Every purchase helps fund another donation, creating a sustainable cycle of support that changes lives.

With your support we will:

• Collect donated mobility equipment across the UK.

• Refurbish equipment to a safe, high standard.

• Purchase specialist equipment when donations are unavailable.

• Deliver equipment to people who need it most.

• Expand our collection, storage and distribution network.

• Help hundreds of people regain their independence.

PROJECT UPDATE – EQUIPMENT DONATION RECEIVED 💙

ReStart Mobility is already turning its mission into action.

We are delighted to have been offered a significant donation of mobility and care equipment, including wheelchairs, walking aids, commode equipment and other essential mobility items.

These are real pieces of equipment that can make a real difference to people living with disabilities.

But receiving the equipment is only the first step.

We now need funding to collect, store, inspect, prepare and transport donated equipment to the people who need it most.
