Resilience Program for Social Leaders

Aim
Our aim is to provide support to leaders of micro social organisations who are struggling & thinking of stopping their community support.
Who are we and who do we support?
Be Inspired works with social leaders who are looking to start, scale up or stabilise their charity or social enterprise. These people often are delivering vital services into the heart of their own communities. This is fantastic, but sadly in the last 2 years we have seen this amazing community of founders hugely impacted by events that are beyond their control.
The 2 biggest impacts have been the pandemic, and now, the ever-growing cost-of-living crisis. Through all these challenges we are seeing many founders feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, or financially struggling and are now at the point of considering stopping their amazing work which we know will have a devastating impact on their community.
Our plans
Our project offers intense support sessions for founders who are either part of a minority community, or through their disability or personal commitments cannot access support from elsewhere.
The founders are passionate people who set out to bring a positive change to their community. Because of this passion, and personal responsibility, many will push themselves financially and neglect their health both mental and physical, especially during challenging times. They frequently put their staff, volunteers and community first.
Our program is designed to help reset this so that they can lead the way to a positive outcome for everyone.

Our main focus for the next 12 months is to continue the work we are doing but also to innovate and develop our support programme to be more accessible and to have a wider reach. We desperately need the support to run another group of founders through the Resilience Program, which will ensure that we have helped another 8 individuals make positive decisions for themselves and their social organisation. Your support right now can make that happen.
Our Crowdfunding Rewards are based on giving membership to our online support community for social leaders, SE Folk, where we host weekly events, have a knowledge hub and access to experts. We also have the opportunity for people to sponsor our work including our events, our new Podcast, and being a growth partner for 2023.
