Help us rescue an extra 50 cats and kittens!

Aim

To raise at least £5,000 that would help pay towards the veterinary costs of an extra 50 stray or feral cats or kittens in need in our area.

There has been a big increase in abandoned animals and demand for our help. Last year we helped to rescue and rehome over 100 feral and stray cats and kittens in our area - twice as many as we planned!. We are a small branch without an animal centre but use 6 great foster families who do a wonderful job in looking after them before they go to their forever homes. 

Each stray cat or kitten rescued has a full set of vet treatment costing approx. £300 each including neuter, microchip, vaccinations, flea and worming.

Each feral cat trapped is neutered and has a blood test which totals approx. £250 each before they are released. This helps to control the numbers of feral cats and help avoid any future health problems 

So an extra 50 cats and kittens we can help would cost a minimum £12,500.

We know the cost of living crisis has affected so many people but if you are able to support us by donating whatever you can towards our target we would be extremely grateful and enable us to continue doing what we can to help animals in need in our area.
