Aim: We’re sprucing up our cattery doors this spring. We need to raise £12,000 to create the perfect upgrade for our cats by replacing 20 doors.
Creating a reinvigorated space for cats
We pride ourselves on creating the best environment to care for our cats, and our cattery doors have seen better days. They were installed in 1992 and we’ve maintained them as best we can, but now, it’s time for something new. We owe it to the cats we care for to create the best possible space for them. To provide them with cleaner, safer and more private spaces. Replacing our wooden doors with UPVC ones will give our cats a luxury place to stay.

Help Cats like Penny
Penny came to us after her owner sadly passed away. At first, Penny grieved for her owner and wouldn’t come out to eat or interact with our staff. For weeks she hid away under layers of blankets. Our staff would sit with her to try and help comfort and reassure her. After weeks of trying, the team managed to coax her out. However, our old cattery doors would slam shut, scaring her all over again. We want to install new quieter cattery doors to help cats like Penny - those cats who are nervous of sudden loud noises. It’ll also create a cleaner and more private barrier between cats like Penny and their new surroundings. This is vital work to help create the cosiest cabin for our cats, and we need your help to do it.
To complete this project we need to raise £12,000. If we are fortunate enough to raise more than the funds specified in this appeal, any additional funds will be designated as unrestricted and will be used to support our general running costs. For example, helping with our utility bills to keep the place warm and lights on for our cats.
