URGENT replacement of tool transportation cart

Aim
Replace “Florry” our 40 year old work cart, essential for the transportation of tools/plants/soil along Rotten Row, run solely by volunteers
We are “Friends of Rotten Row“ Southport, a group of approximately 16 volunteers
who maintain the half mile border along Rotten Row, to ensure that there are fantastic year round floral displays.
Our converted golf buggy “Florry” is used for the transportation of our tools, soil and plants. She is an absolutely essential piece of equipment in the maintenance of Rotten Row. Sadly Florry, now 40 years old, has reached the end of her natural life and a replacement is needed urgently. The cost to replace will be £3000. Southport Rotary has pledged £1500, still leaving a substantial gap that needs to be raised. It is of course the worst time of the year for our equipment to fail, as it is now that a lot of the preparatory work is carried out so that Rotten Row is at its best for the season and the forthcoming flower show..
