Replacement Bat Fund

Aim
On the 17th February our storage container was broken into, and every usable club bat was stolen, we are now asking for help to replace them
Who are we?
The Exeter Baseball Club are a mixed, all age two team baseball club.
Why are we crowdfunding?
Less than 40 days before the start of the 2026 season, our first with two teams competing the South West and Wales Baseball League, we were devasted to learn that all of our clubs bats have been stolen. In the last few months we had been in the process of building up extra stock, two teams required twice the kit. However, all 12 of bats have gone. A mixture of wood and alloy bats, we had lots of different types to suit all our various players
How we’ll spend the money raised
Having done a stock take of what we lost, what we had already bought and what we think we will need for the future, we feel that each team will need the minimum of 2no 32", 2no 33" and 1no 34" bats each, plus a couple of lighter bats for our under 16s players.
Impact
We have two teams who are wanting to train and play to be ready for March 1st, when we start our preseason friendlies
