Restore Woodseats Playground's vandalised trees

Aim

Please help us make Woodseats Playground beautiful again by replacing and restoring the trees which were damaged.

We were absolutely devastated to learn about the vandalism of our beautiful new trees, and we know from the many messages we received that the local community were too. We will replace or restore the trees as soon as possible at an estimated cost of £800. We are grateful to all the people who have expressed their support to help us do so. 

The trees were only recently planted using funds raised from public donations and the generosity of our community partners The Veolia Environmental Trust. The trees were a central feature of our new and improved family picnic area, providing shade and shelter for everyone to enjoy, and encouraging more nature into the playground. Any funds raised beyond those needed to replace/repair the trees will be used for the continued improvement of the playground.  Thank you for your support.
