Who are we?
We are a group of volunteers, maintaining a village hall for use by the whole community. We are a Charity Registered 523328.
Yoga, Keep Fit, Pilates, and Clubbercise are run weekly, there are 2 or 3 Badminton sessions per week and youth club use the hall for training, and other sports. 2 short mat bowls teams also use the hall in the winter months.
The hall is also a venue for birthday parties, weddings and concerts and the annual Pantomime.
The hall was built in 1965 and we work hard to maintain the high standards, we have raised funds to insulate the hall, install solar and install new heating but the floor is in dire need of some work to ensure that our community can continue to enjoy the facility. The floor hasn't been sanded and sealed since before Covid.

Why are we crowdfunding?
Our Youth Club use the hall throughout the year, often sitting on the floor for coaching, listening to instructions etc, Pilates, Yoga and keep fit also use the floor for their classes, we have badminton too. At weekends we host many children's parties, weddings and events. Having a floor which is safe, can be easily cleaned and has sufficient grip to ensure safe play and exercise and enjoyment for everyone is extremely important to us.

How you can play your part
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
