Project Playtime: A New Adventure Playground for The Oaks Infant School.

Together, we can turn a taped-off space into a place where children can thrive.

We are a group of local parent volunteers aiming to raise £30,000 to create an exciting new outdoor adventure playground for the children of The Oaks Infant School—and we need our community’s help to make it happen.

The school’s old playground equipment needs to be renewed as it is currently taped off. Every day, children walk past a space that used to be alive with laughter, imagination and adventure. With your support, we can give them back the joyful play experiences they are missing.

Our vision is to replace the existing Trim Trail and artificial grass, including the Reception outdoor flooring, with a new climbing frame and activity area that will inspire active play, friendship and confidence - a place where children can play, explore, climb, and share the simple joy of playing and making happy memories together.

Outdoor play is vital for children’s physical health, motor skills, mental wellbeing and social development. This playground will give them something truly special: a safe, inspiring place to move, connect and grow.

This is about so much more than new equipment, it is an investment in our children, our school and our community - a gift that will bring happiness to pupils now and for many years to come.

If each of us gives a little, together we can achieve something truly wonderful.
