Help Rémi Salvan stand in the Holyrood Election!

Aim

Help Rémi in this campaign to stand on the Scottish Greens Regional List in North East Scotland.

Remi Salvan is recognised within the Mearns and University of Aberdeen communities as someone who gets stuck into many different things and is a radical optimist. This was further recognised in September 2024 when he was named Aberdeenshire’s Future 2024 at the Inspiring Aberdeenshire Awards.

At the moment, he is a second-year Biotechnology student at the University of Aberdeen and Vice-Chair for Communities at the Aberdeen University Student Association. He is also the current treasurer and trustee of Kincardine & Mearns Youth Clubs.

He is particularly interested in improving public transport, strengthening the role of cooperatives in the economy, making housing more affordable, and improving especially young people’s access to our democracy.

As his main hobby, he plays the fiddle as an active member of Aberdeen’s Folk & Trad music scene, playing at sessions and ceilidhs.
