This page has been set up to raise funds for Glencoe Mountain Rescue in memory of Dave Low who died on the mountains on 2nd March 2022.
Having bagged all 300 Munros, he was experienced on the mountains, and being a devoted Dad to three precious girls, he was careful and respectful of the mountains. But nature throws us curve balls and some we can’t survive, no matter how much care we take.
Glencoe mountain rescue team searched for David, found him and have been a great support to his family. They are the busiest and longest established mountain rescue team in Scotland, made up of dedicated and highly experienced but unpaid volunteers. They receive limited financial support from Police Scotland and the Scottish Government but could not provide their services without generous public donations.
It is therefore our aim to support GMT through your donations, in Dave’s name.
