Project aim
A full page national advertisement in the Independent and the i newspapers to mark the July anniversary of 547 children killed last year in Gaza, and promote The Big Ride for Palestine.
About the project
Over a period of 51 days during the summer of 2014, 547 children died in Gaza. In memory of these children and the need to protect the human rights of all Palestinian children, the Big Ride will promote awareness and raise funds for the children's charity, MECA. A national advertisement will commemorate the events of 2014 and draw attention to the urgent need of children living in Gaza for clean water, food, education and the right to a positive future.
Further to the advertisement, in August 2015 hundreds of cyclists will participate in a cycle ride from Edinburgh to London covering a distance of 474 miles to raise funds and awareness of the support needed for the children of Gaza.
