Raising funds to launch 'Relabelled' - ethical clothing brand. Conscious clothing, spreading positive vibes, supporting an awesome charity.

Hi! We are friends Jess & Natty. Jess is the original founder and ideas generator, administrator. Natty is designer and general motivator.
For a few years, we've searched, with not much luck, to try and find the clothes that we'd love to wear. Ones that have designs that are simple and yummy, where the process of making them is ethical, sustainable and eco-friendly, that don't compromise on durability, softness or quality, and that build people up instead of tear them down. We decided to get off our butts and do it ourselves.

The idea behind the name 'Relabelled' is a simple one... We are constantly putting 'labels' on ourselves and other people and, sadly, it's often the more negative labels that seem to really stick to us. In a world where our mental health stats are deteriorating, where we see injustice after injustice keep happening worldwide, where picture-perfect social media makes us feels like we aren't enough, and where publicly putting people down is just a horrifyingly normal part of life, we are wanting to spread a little more positivity; relabelling people.

Together, we've been working to create these items for our debut collection:
- The slate grey 'hope.' tee
- The cool white 'hope.' tee
- The black 'brave.' boyfriend sweatshirt
- The black 'justice.' tee shirt dress
- The 'clothed with strength' tote bag
- The kids 'brave.' hoodie
- Matching quote totes (coming soon to our website)

We are into the details. Jess has searched and chosen a local screen printers who pride themselves on being as ethical and eco-friendly as possible, using only water based inks which don't leak harmful chemicals into our oceans and are as plastic free as they can be - using only recycled plastic where absolutely necessary, using green energy suppliers, using ethical banking (honestly, our printers have strived for every tiny detail and still aim for more, which is why they are the perfect fit for us!).
All our garments are Fair Wear certified, and made only from GOTS certified 100% organic cotton. The packaging we use is all plastic free and we've spent hours finding things like biodegradable postage bags so that every detail is thought through consciously.

AND as if that wasn't good enough, we've committed to donating 10% of our NET profits to the Trauma Recovery Centre - an incredible charity who facilitate the creative and purposeful recovery of children and young people facing trauma, challenge and crisis. Their HQ is local to us in Bath where we live and we are HUGE fans of what they do. Go on and give them a follow and find out how you could support them further!

***** NEWSFLASH UPDATE*****
Because of your overwhelming support, we reached our stretch goal in just one week. So, true to our word, we've been spending time dreaming and designing and have brought you our first kids design just in time to add it to our crowdfunder!
Our kids 'brave.' hoodies are 85% organic cotton and 15% recycled polyester with a roomy 'kangaroo style' pocket at the front. We wanted them to be bright, bold and fun, just like our kids, so we've gone for this gorgeous design bellow! They are now available as a reward for ages 3-11 years!

So! After all that, what are we doing here?! Well, we are asking you to be on our team. To buy into the vision. To spread a little more positivity. We've had the samples and love them and to fully launch the brand we need funds to be able to buy the first round of stock as well as the boring but lovely essentials like biodegradable postage bags and branded stickers. We would love it if you backed this project and 'Relabelled' yourself, or someone else, or maybe several other people..! Maybe these clothes are the perfect way to say 'Hey, you're awesome' for Christmas, or a birthday, or a Thursday...
Go on, spread some loveliness.
Jess and Natty
