Regeneration of Widford Playing Field

Aim
Our aim is to raise money to purchase new football posts and other sports equipment to be used by the community on the playing field
Inspired by Captain Tom's incredible fundraising story, we are asking friends and residents to help us collect 100 donations of £10 within 28 days.
Widford Playing Field is run by a small committee who would like to regenerate this underused space to create a new green heart in our community that is valued and used by multi generations together, and where annual village events can be held. Our regeneration plans include a new play area, adult gym area, community garden, shaded picnic area, car park, sports pitches, regular village events and improved access for all.
